Title:
Chemical Engineering Intern
Summary: KBR internships provide handson, projectbased experience across engineering, science, cyber, intelligence, logistics, project controls, and business functions. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real customer projects, and are treated as integral team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist in realworld technical or business projects depending on discipline (engineering, cyber, data, logistics, etc.). Interns often work directly with project and operation team.
- Data & Reporting: Contribute to progress reporting, documentation, and performance metrics.
- Technical Tasks:
- For engineering roles: support design and other tasks based on operation team requirements
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in an agile, supportive environment.
- Exposure & Learning: Participate in mentoring, networking events, and structured development programs such as KBR's IMPACT or earlycareer initiatives.
Qualifications
While requirements vary by role, typical expectations include:
Enrollment in a relevant bachelor's program (engineering or statistics major preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work parttime depending on internship structure (many roles specify 20-40 hours/week).
