The Opportunity:

As a Project Controls Student, you will be a part of the Facilities Project Controls Team and will assist in the support of various facility major projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of planning & scheduling and project cost management. Reporting to the Manager of Project Controls, you will be working with project teams for both thermal and conventional facilities.

  • Job location:ย Calgary, Alberta - Head Office
  • Shift schedule:ย 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday)
  • Term length:ย 4 months
  • Term start:ย May 2027
  • Safety sensitive position:ย No

Key Accountabilities:

  • Planning and scheduling
  • Project cost tracking and forecasting
  • Cost estimating
  • Project data analysis and reporting
  • Stakeholder communication

What You Bring to The Role:

  • Currently enrolled in a full time, post-secondary program focused in Construction Management or related Program
  • Good understanding of Construction Management Principles
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of data analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
