We are looking for co-ops who can apply both their consulting and technology skills to support a wide range of projects.

As a Technical Consultant (Intern/Co-op), you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Apply business/accounting/finance acumen to solve client problems, apply technology skills to build solutions for clients, and assist with tax consulting deliverables.
  • Assist with day-to-day delivery of tax transformation projects for clients and supporting client deliverables using a variety of technologies and tools.
  • Support development of custom solutions and ongoing product development.
  • Assist on client initiatives to identify opportunities to improve existing tax operating models including designing processes, and implementing tax technology.
  • Work with our managers to understand client(s) existing processes and propose new solutions.
  • Participate in collaboration/design sessions with the business, clients, and our team.
  • Our team primarily works with Microsoft technologies such as: Excel/VBA, PowerQuery, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Experience with Python, Alteryx, or similar is considered an asset.
  • Enjoys problem solving using business acumen and technological solutions.
  • Willingly takes on and learns new skills - although you may not know all the technologies and/or have tax experience, you’re willing to learn quickly and apply it effectively.

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $41,000 to $65,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills& competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
