Controls Engineer - Marlborough, MA - Energy Management & Building Automation - $80K-$105KAbout the Opportunity:

A well-established energy management and building automation firm is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to support growing project demand in the greater Boston region. This role plays a key part in the design, programming, and commissioning of high-performance controls systems for commercial and institutional facilities. You'll collaborate closely with mechanical teams, electricians, and end-users to ensure efficient, reliable system performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, design, configure, and maintain building automation and energy management control systems

  • Assist with estimating, proposal development, and job layout planning
  • Support project scheduling, material selection, and equipment coordination
  • Work hands-on in the field with technicians, mechanical crews, and electricians to ensure proper installation
  • Develop energy-focused solutions, primarily in retrofit and service applications (non-new construction)
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as a Controls Engineer or related BAS/controls role
