About the Role

We are currently looking for a Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support services to our valuedclient'sdata centerpractice. This position will work with a team of professionals, including client project managers, construction professionals, and project stakeholders, to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems throughout a project's life cycle. This role is a significant project team position with many growth opportunities.

General responsibilities include:
  • Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedules.
  • Review project documents and specifications todevelop baseline schedules that accuratelyinclude all required dates, activities,and milestones.
  • Perform progress schedule updates to include comprehensive reporting and narratives.
  • Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
  • Perform critical path analyses,identifyschedule-related problems, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team.
  • Reviewthecontractor's progress and presentitto management for decision-making.
  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
  • Cost and resource management and reporting.
  • Identification and evaluation of risk and impacts within project schedules.
  • Communicate project status and challenges effectively.
  • Meetwith project teams, clients, owners,and various stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Fiveor more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
  • Twoor more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field. This requirement may be waived with fiveor more years of direct, vertical construction industry experience.
  • Ability to accurately interpret construction documents.
  • Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
  • Cost and resource management and reporting,
  • Familiarity with contractual clauses as they apply to planning and scheduling,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously,
  • AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification(s) preferred.
  • This role requires being full-time on-site.
