JOB TITLE: Project Specialist
DEPARTMENT: DrinkWorks!
REPORTS TO: Director of DrinkWorks! and EasyGo!
SUPERVISES: None
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt / Hourly
JOB SUMMARY
Assist Project & Program Managers with the execution of new product development assignments along with other administrative tasks. Assist with duties that will ensure that new products and programs are delivered on a timely basis, meet quality standards, and exceed customer expectations, while acting in the best interest of Whirley-DrinkWorks!.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for assisting with the delivery of multiple DrinkWorks! and EasyGo! products/projects in a timely manner, meeting quality standards, while being cost effective and meeting customer needs. Representative duties may include:
    • Assist with preparing and maintaining clear, complete, and accurate project plans.
    • Assist with ensuring adherence to customers' design, material, and quality specs.
    • Assist with utilizing knowledge of various machine capabilities, engineering practices, and overall manufacturing process to influence and negotiate customer expectations consistent with WDW capabilities.
    • Assist with ensuring all company policies are met, could include the type of decoration, number of ink colors, quantity/product requirements, licensing/royalty issues and other related items such as confidentiality clauses.
    • Assist with ensuring profitability standards are met by helping to negotiate product costs and preparing sale pricing that meet profitability goals.
    • Assist with providing detailed accurate statements of work.
    • Assist with completing and analyzing post-mortem analysis after project completion.
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.

OUTSOURCED PRODUCT SUPPORT
  • Assist with performing support duties and administrative tasks that will ensure the timely deliveries of new quality products.

OPEN MARKET SOURCING
    • Assist with processing approved open market product requests.
    • Assist with requests for information regarding open-market products direct from factories or through Speed 2 Market, mainly through email correspondence.
    • Assist with Art and Pricing for open-market products.
    • Assist with pricing quotes and communicates with Independent Sale Representatives (ISR) and Business Development Managers (BDM).

SALES SUPPORT
  • Assist in Item Number Set-Up.
  • Assist in Statement of Work.
  • Assist in Import Authorization Letters.
    • Assist in Order Detail Form - Oversight with Business Development Managers (BDM) and Independent Sale Representatives (ISR).
  • Assist in Order Entry - Oversight with Inside Sales.

PRODUCT MARGIN SUPPORT
  • Assist in Monitoring and tracking margins on all active product sales monthly.
  • Assist in Maintaining and identifying products with low margin.
  • Assist in sharing monthly margin reporting with Program Managers.
  • Assist in following up with Program Managers on corrective action plans for low margin product sales.

INVENTORY TRACKING
  • Assist in identifying Custom Imported DrinkWorks! and EasyGo! inventory concerns and resolving any issues to eliminate warehouse storage costs.

SAMPLE, PROTOTYPE, AND NEW PRODUCT IN AND OUT PROCESSING
  • Assist in checks-in new individual samples and new launch samples cases received by courier daily.
  • Assist in processing sample order shipments to Customers, Business Development Managers (BDM) and Independent Sale Representatives (ISR).
