Job description

Overview

Theย Associate Project Managerย supports theย management ofย residential projectsย fromย property acquisition through completion. Working closely with and under the guidance of Project Managers, this roleย coordinatesย project scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, documentation, quality control, and field operations to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while gaining hands-on experience in residential construction project management. ย Must be local to the Atlanta, GA area for the role. ย Candidates located in the northern Atlanta suburbs are preferred.ย  ย Pay range for the role is $25.00 to $32.00 an hour.


Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating residential renovation projects from planning through completion.ย ย 
  • Support pre-purchase propertyย inspections andย scopeย development.ย 
  • Assistย withย schedulingย contractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries toย maintainย project timelines.ย ย 
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to Project Managers.ย ย 
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, and job files.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed.ย 
  • Conduct routine site visits to document project progress.ย ย 
  • Monitor project milestones and escalate scheduling or budget concerns to the Project Manager.ย ย 
  • Support permit, inspection, and compliance activities as needed.ย ย 
  • Help ensure job sites remain organized and compliant with company safety expectations.ย ย 
  • Assistย with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.ย 

Qualifications

Experienceย 

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in construction, residential renovations, project coordination, construction administration, estimating, orย a relatedย field preferred.ย ย 
  • Experience in residential construction, home remodeling, or property renovations is preferred but notย required.ย ย 
  • Internship or entry-level experience in construction project management will also be considered.ย ย 

Educationย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, orย a relatedย field preferred.ย ย 
  • Equivalentย combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.ย ย 

Skillsย 

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.ย ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ย ย 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.ย ย 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.ย ย 
  • Basic understanding of residential construction processes and terminology preferred.ย ย 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.ย ย 
  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with construction management software is a plus.ย ย
