  • Create and align execution structures and delivery models for GMP and non-GMP capital projects based on project size, complexity, and business criticality.
  • Deploy capital project delivery best practices, including front-end loading, stage-gate reviews, value improvement practices, and practical risk mitigation to improve predictability and reduce schedule and cost overruns.
  • Coordinate planning, monitoring, reporting, and escalation for all site capital projects, including risk registers, mitigation plans, communications, and stakeholder updates.
  • Lead the preparation and review of capital appropriation requests before submission to the Head of Site Engineering and Site Leadership Team for approval.
  • Ensure site project managers are appropriately trained on GOPs, job aids, cost estimation, SPOT, and other required project execution tools and processes.
  • Develop and coach the capital projects team to deliver Site Engineering goals, KPIs, and portfolio commitments while building long-term project delivery capability.
  • Manage portfolio resource loading, provide visibility to stakeholders, and create development opportunities for site-based staff as appropriate.
  • Participate in regional, OpU, and Global Capital Projects Communities of Practice to share knowledge and bring best practices back to the site.
  • Represent the Engineering Capital Projects function during internal and external audits.
  • Adhere to applicable EHS requirements, Takeda's Code of Conduct, and all expectations for fair, respectful, and compliant ways of working.
