What's in it for you:

Trane in Quebec City is hiring for an Equipment Project Manager to join our team. • Perform project-related administrative duties, including equipment order entry, purchase order issuance, work order generation, document coordination, and maintenance of project records.
  • Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, technicians, and internal support teams, to provide project updates, address questions, and support customer satisfaction.
  • Review estimated ship dates in comparison with customer or contractor schedules and ensure compliance with internal equipment ordering and fulfillment processes.
  • Maintain forecasted cost at completion and assist in controlling project expenses through ongoing budget monitoring and financial tracking.
  • Develop and update project schedules, including key tasks, timelines, dependencies, and milestones, as appropriate for assigned projects.
  • Support project cash flow activities, including progress billing coordination, collections support, and monitoring of project financial status.
  • Provide on-site support when needed to assist technicians or customers; however, this role is not responsible for overall job site management or subcontractor oversight.
  • Support an equipment supply-only business model with an emphasis on coordination, administration, customer support, and internal execution rather than field management.

Scope of Role:

  • Supports multiple active projects that are generally smaller in scale and administrative in nature.
  • Works in a coordinated support capacity rather than a full construction project management capacity.
  • Has limited field presence and does not direct field operations or manage subcontractors.

What you will bring:

  • Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; OR a minimum of five (5) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
