Job description

“I’ve had the joy of building Sézane alongside you - the first French fashion brand born online, rooted in quality, creativity, and intention.

To tell the story of Sézane is to retrace more than 20 years of defining adventures and bold decisions: choosing to do things differently, choosing people, choosing to act, and above all, choosing to trust in one’s convictions - even when that means rethinking what we thought we knew.

Sézane is more than a fashion brand. It’s a story of life - mine, yours, and all those who shape it every day.” Morgane Sézalory, Founder & CEO

To continue to co-construct the next chapter and beyond, we are looking for creative, organized and agile talents, who share our passion to perpetually improve all that can be.

Care to imagine what comes next with us? We can’t wait to hear from you!

We are seeking the talents of a Marketing & Special Projects Associate (M/F) to join our US Marketing Team and contribute to the next chapter of Sézane’s journey in the United States. Special projects include experiential marketing, in-person brand partnerships, pop-up activations, and events. High level: your role is to turn creative ideas and concepts into consumer experiences that you will both project manage and execute.

This position will report into our US Offline Marketing Manager. This position is based in our New York City office (SoHo) and will require regular domestic travel as required for projects.

As Marketing & Special Projects Associate, your missions will be the following:

  • Own end-to-end project management of special marketing initiatives across the US and Canada, from scoping through post-mortem, in partnership with our US Offline Marketing Manager.
  • Partner with Sézane Influence, Events, Communications, Retail / Operations, Assortment, Legal and Creative teams to ensure every project reflects with the broader brand image and experience.
  • Source local and recurring partners that align with Sézane's DNA, building relationships that strengthen brand presence and resonate with US and Canadian audiences.
  • Act as the on-the-ground lead for projects and activations, overseeing installations, productions, team training, and store openings, while simultaneously coordinating with global teams and vendors.
  • Facilitate traditional offline marketing (direct mail, billboards, print), ensuring alignment with brand standards and resonance with local markets.
  • Own project budgets end-to-end: recurring reports, building proper expense allocation, real-time view of budget tracking, ROI, brand impact, and lessons for next time.
  • Guide copy and asset creation for offline marketing in collaboration with our Paris-based creative team, managing local production and distribution across the US.
  • Build and maintain detailed project timelines and critical paths across all active initiatives, proactively identifying risks and dependencies to keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative offline project management, experiential marketing, events, in-person brand partnerships (preferably but not obligatorily within the fashion, beauty, lifestyle or culture-driven industries).
  • Must be New York-based and able to work in person at our SoHo office with considerable domestic travel for projects, openings and activations throughout the year.
  • Flexible and willing to coordinate with teams across time zones (LA, NY, Paris) to keep projects on track, even when that means adjusting your schedule around theirs.
  • Familiar with offline marketing campaign mechanisms and execution.
  • Proficient in basic copywriting principles.
  • Detail and process-oriented with strong time management, organizational skills, and keen eye for process improvement.
  • Good negotiation skills & ability to manage relationships with established vendors.
  • Comfortable leading multiple projects simultaneously within a small team.

Your profile:

  • You're passionate about finding new ways to bring the Sézane magic to life with creative offline marketing events and activations tailored to local markets.
  • When sourcing vendors and activations, can balance between “locally resonant,” “operationally feasible,” and “on brand.”
  • No task too big or small attitude. You’re a true team player who’s the first to roll your sleeves up to get things done.
  • Curious, interested and knowledgeable about local culture and “newness” (arts, artists, design, spaces, venues, restaurants, vendors etc) around the US and Canada with an eye for timelessness over trends.
  • Likes to think outside the box and make magic happen despite the impossible circumstances.
  • Cool under pressure & solution oriented - always one to have a backup plan (or three) and seamlessly adapt plans and logistics accordingly.
  • Strong network of print and asset production partners is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual (French / English) is a plus but not required.

Benefits

Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 depending on skills and experience.

Sézane recruits and values all talents, whatever your gender, age, nationality, culture, religious beliefs or sexual orientation.
