Job Summary:
Impiricus is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our DocUpdate team and own project execution across one of our fastest-growing product lines. This role will serve as the central point of coordination across multiple cross-functional initiatives, ensuring projects stay organized, aligned, and moving forward in a fast-paced environment.
As the primary Project Manager for DocUpdate, you will act as the "air traffic controller" for several concurrent workstreams, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Concierge teams to drive execution from planning through delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives, and takes pride in proactively solving problems before they become roadblocks.
We're looking for someone who operates with a high degree of ownership, enjoys working across teams, and is excited to build scalable project management processes as the organization continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
  • Own end-to-end project management across multiple DocUpdate initiatives, ensuring projects remain on schedule and key stakeholders stay aligned.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing competing priorities while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive projects from planning through execution with minimal oversight while ensuring accountability across teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance, Concierge, and other internal stakeholders to successfully deliver complex initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination across departments, ensuring teams remain aligned on priorities and project timelines.
  • Navigate changing priorities and evolving requirements while maintaining momentum across projects.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organization and communicate project status clearly to leadership.
Process Improvement
  • Introduce structure and scalable project management practices that improve execution and visibility across the organization.
  • Recommend and implement project management tools and best practices that support team efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and increase cross-functional collaboration.
  • Help establish the foundation for a growing project management function as the DocUpdate team continues to scale.

Education & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • PMP Certification (required).
  • 3+ years of corporate project management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to independently lead projects with minimal oversight while driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects involving Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance, or similarly cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience using modern project management platforms such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, ClickUp, or similar.
Preferred
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience within healthcare, health technology, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build structure and processes in environments with evolving priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of taking initiative, solving problems proactively, and stepping outside traditional role boundaries when needed.
