Job description

Assistant Construction Project Manager

Join a dynamic and growing construction team as an Assistant Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project timelines, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with team members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical advice and support to ensure work aligns with plans and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, reports, and schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, oversee safety compliance, and address any issues that arise.
  • Facilitate communication across all stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow and problem solving.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining strong, professional relationships.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of project status reports to clients and senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a construction or project management role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Procore experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
