Job description

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Project Management Assistant in a hybrid position at the Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. 

What you will do: 

  • The successful candidate will assist in project management through the preparation, update and management of documents, databases, spreadsheets, presentation and collaboration for effectively and efficiently managing, advising and implementing capabilities, and budgets associated with Project Scylla.
  • You will support all phases of the project in collaboration with both technical and financial personnel.
  • You will respond to requests to gather, analyze, record, manipulate, and prepare planning, programming, budgeting and tracking of the project.
  • Work includes managing and analyzing databases, writing white papers, and coordinating meetings.
Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 0 years with BS/BA. Degree in Fincance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.  In lieu of degree, four years of related work experience.
  • Must have junior level proficiency or experience in audit/financial management; required for data-entry. Individuals with business degrees in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Must have experience with financial systems and data management. Ability to populate databases and manage complex spreadsheets without breaking formulas or data integrity.
  • Must have proficiency with MS Office products Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be qualified to work on procurement sensitive information per FAR regulations with a Nondisclosure Agreement signed.
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Target Salary Range$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
