Job description

Summary:The Project Coordination Intern supports the Asset Integrity Team with day-to-day administrative and integrity related project coordination activities. This role assists with policy document creation and revision, integrity document organization, reporting, database management and project tracking and coordination between departments. The position works closely with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to help keep project information organized and projects moving forward. The role also supports project documentation, reporting, presentations, and other project-related activities as needed. This position reports to the Supervisor – Asset Integrity Engineering. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Asset Integrity and Engineering teams
  • Assist with integrity inspection tracking, scheduling, and coordination for ongoing projects
  • Organize and maintain integrity inspection reports, engineering drawings, QC documentation, asset databases, project files and documentation
  • Support the preparation, revision and organization of policy manuals and documents, SOP’s, and guidelines, and other Asset Integrity documentation
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of an IDMS (Integrity Data Management System) platform, including data organization, validation, and documentation
  • Conduct basic research on applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements to support engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Assist with integrity, reliability and maintenance data analysis, reporting, and presentation
  • Prepare project presentations, summaries, meeting materials, and status updates. Attend project meetings and track meeting notes, action items, and follow-up items
  • Support purchase order tracking, invoice coordination, and project documentation activities
  • Assist with tracking project schedules, timelines, deliverables, and outstanding action items
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between Engineering, Operations, IT, Procurement, and other internal teams to support project activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with developing and maintaining supporting documentation
  • Perform other project coordinator, administrative and Asset Integrity support duties as assigned
 Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an operational, project management, engineering, or related role is considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and industry knowledge
  • Experience with Power BI, or other reporting systems considered an asset
  • Previous internship, co-op, or office experience considered an asset
  • Interest or experience in asset integrity, engineering, pressure vessels and pipeline infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects considered an asset
