Job description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Analyst in Miami, FL to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project performance, analyzing trends, forecasting outcomes, and providing accurate reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders. You will partner closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and finance departments to ensure project objectives are achieved and milestones are met. The position involves schedule analysis, cost and performance reporting, risk assessment, change management support, and the preparation of executive-level dashboards and project updates. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex project data and delivering actionable insights that support informed decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-impact projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, project management, or program controls
  • Must have experience within construction, engineering, energy, utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Experience with cost management, forecasting, budgeting, earned value management (EVM), and performance reporting
  • Advanced proficiency with project controls software, including Primavera P6
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis
  • Knowledge of project lifecycle management, risk analysis, change management, and contract administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Finance, Business, or a related field


Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
