Position Summary

The Commercial Projects Analyst plays a key role in executing the regional Freight Forwarding commercial strategy by coordinating the end-to-end implementation of new and existing strategic customers across the Americas region.

This role is responsible for managing customer onboarding projects from award through operational stabilization while ensuring alignment with regional and global implementation standards. The position works closely with Commercial, Operations, Customer Service, Procurement, Product, IT, Finance, and other functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Beyond project execution, this role contributes to the continuous improvement of regional implementation methodologies, tools, governance, reporting, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage assigned customer implementation projects from award through successful go-live and operational stabilization.

  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timeline, scope, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, kickoff presentations, stakeholder maps, risk registers, communication plans, action trackers, and go-live checklists.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Procurement, Product, Pricing, Finance, IT, Customs Brokerage, and external customers.

  • Ensure implementation milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks are properly tracked and communicated.

  • Support implementation governance through regular project meetings, executive updates, and customer status reports.

  • Identify implementation risks and support the development of mitigation plans.

  • Ensure successful transition of customers into steady-state operations after go-live.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Required Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding (Ocean, Air, Road).

  • Experience supporting or coordinating customer onboarding, customer implementations, operational transitions, commercial projects, or project management initiatives within Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain.

  • Operational knowledge of Freight Forwarding processes and customer lifecycle management.

  • Experience managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working with medium and large strategic customers.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Product, IT, and other business functions.

  • Experience supporting regional or multi-country projects is highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively across different countries, cultures, and business environments within Latin America, North America, or other international regions.

  • Advanced English (C1 or higher) is mandatory. This role requires participating in meetings and presentations with regional and global stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Portuguese (native or fluent).
  • Spanish is highly desirable.
