Job Description

In this position you will independently determine the general approach and specific solutions to issues and provide solutions to manufacturing operations that combine the application of appropriate engineering principles - driving the use of engineering disciplines in a way that causes significant shifts in the manufacturing process. ย ย You will plan and lead projects/programs that include the integration of outside technical resources while maintaining a competitive position in the market place.

You will lead teams working on product improvement and line extension, anticipate the ever changing resource requirements and results, and initiate responses to optimize overall project results.ย  ย To fill this position, you need strong leadership skills (in team projects), analytical and decision making skills and be effective in both verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

Required:

-BS Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (MS/MBA beneficial)

-10+ years experience ย - that includes 5 years in a progression of assignments with at least 2 years of experience in engineering disciplines and 2 years of production/operational work

- 50% travel

-Manufacturing background (previous operations or business positions beneficial)
