Job description

About the Role
Franklin Interiors, a leading commercial furniture dealership, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Administrator to support our sales & project management teams through the full lifecycle of furniture procurement, delivery, and installation projects. This role is central to keeping our projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly for our clients.
We're looking for someone with at least 5-7 years of experience in an office coordinator, administrative, or project support role. We also strongly welcome candidates with a background in construction project management, construction administration, or project coordination in the built environment — many of the skills used to manage submittals, schedules, vendors, and job-site logistics translate directly to what we do here.
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and track furniture orders from initial quote through delivery and installation
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones across multiple concurrent projects
  • Communicate with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors (installers, freight, etc.) to confirm lead times, delivery windows, and installation logistics
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, change orders, and invoices
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing status updates and resolving scheduling issues
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, punch lists, and closeout paperwork
  • Support project managers with budget tracking, reporting, and administrative follow-through
  • Coordinate site logistics with property managers, general contractors, or building management as needed

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an office coordinator, administrative assistant, or project support role (required)
  • Experience in construction project management, construction administration, or similar project-based coordination is a plus and welcomed — if you've managed submittals, punch lists, vendor schedules, or job-site logistics, your experience is highly transferable here
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management or ERP software (e.g., Procore, CET, Teamdesign, or similar) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable coordinating with vendors, installers, and clients across a fast-paced project schedule

Why Join Franklin
  • Work: Collaborative, team-driven culture with real opportunities for growth and career development
  • Learn: Ongoing investment in your future through the latest technology and continued education/training opportunities
  • Heal: Comprehensive benefits — health, vision, and dental coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time, plus an annual profit-sharing program

Compensation
  • $26-$28/hr
