Job description

Provide support to Office manager and other members of department leadership when necessary by performing and office staff duties with considerable latitude for exercising sound judgement and discretion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • CHAA certification preferred
  • Minimum of three years of administrative office support experience required
  • Coding and billing experience/ CPT knowledge.

Skills:

  • Requires a strong understanding of general office routines and procedures with the ability to file accurately
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; proficient with computers to include keyboarding, navigation and use of email
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and duties with deadlines
  • Ability to work with multi-line phone and computer systems accurately and efficiently
  • Effective customer service and relationship building skills with patients, visitors and staff; ability to respect dignity of all patients and follow HIPAA rules without breaches in confidentiality
  • Ability to transcribe documents
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
