Job description

Title:Director of Finance & Accounting Salary:$140,000 - $180,000 plus bonus (depending on experience) Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Experience within residential construction, homebuilding, commercial construction, real estate development, or a related industry. Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Experience leading accounting and finance teams. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, and construction financial reporting. Preferred MBA preferred. CPA preferred but not required. Experience serving as a Director of Finance, Controller, Finance Director, or similar leadership role. Experience working within privately held or entrepreneurial organizations. Experience with construction ERP systems and project accounting software. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader who can manage day-to-day accounting operations while also providing financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic support to ownership and operational leadership.
