Renewed Hope Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide exceptional therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families from the comfort of their homes. This role will be conducted remotely, allowing you to connect with clients through virtual sessions, while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. Our outpatient office serves a broad client base and thus provides a stimulating work environment that fosters professional growth and collaboration. Despite the remote nature of the position, you will have continuous access to support from colleagues and supervisors, facilitating teamwork and shared learning experiences.

• Establish a trusting and supportive rapport with clients to encourage openness and foster therapeutic success.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs, differentiating between various psychological, emotional, and relational challenges.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s circumstances, goals, and desired outcomes.
• Engage clients in weekly or biweekly therapy sessions, guiding them through cognitive behavioral techniques, solution-focused strategies, and other evidence-based practices.
• Regularly review and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans and techniques based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and session outcomes in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to specialists when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
• Stay informed about advancements in therapy practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

The clientele at Renewed Hope Behavioral Health includes individuals, couples, and families grappling with a variety of issues including relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and more. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, which can enhance your skill set and expand your approach to treatment.

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Texas.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

• Prior experience working with couples and families in a therapeutic setting.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction treatment, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and methodologies pertinent to mental health therapy.
