Position Overview

Renewed Hope Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide mental health support in a remote outpatient setting while making a significant impact in the lives of our clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment strategies.
  • Complete required client documentation promptly to remain compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as advised by the clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Collaborate with various programs and teams to formulate and implement effective positive behavior support plans.
  • Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes as part of the organization's commitment to quality improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison to state agencies, community partners, and service systems to facilitate clients' access to essential resources.
  • Establish and nurture effective communication channels with stakeholders to uphold contract standards and promote the goals of our agency.
  • Maintain relationships with local, state, federal agencies, and organizations to enhance program visibility and secure partnerships and funding.
  • Seek opportunities for personal and professional development through attending conferences, participating in workshops, and engaging in relevant committees.
  • Promote and embody the mission, values, and principles of Renewed Hope in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including those in need of recovery services from substance use disorders, behavioral health stabilization, or assistance with developmental disabilities. By utilizing person-centered approaches, you will support clients in navigating their obstacles while encouraging their personal growth, resilience, and independence.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is essential.
  • Possession of an independent LMHC license is required to practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in outpatient settings, specifically working as a mental health counselor.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions pertinent to diverse populations.
  • Experience in collaborative settings, effectively working within interdisciplinary teams.
