Progressive Behavior Solutions information

What is Progressive Behavior Solutions?

Progressive Behavior Solutions is a company or organization that provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) and related behavioral health services, primarily to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Their team of professionals typically includes board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) and registered behavior technicians (RBTs) who design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve social, communication, and adaptive skills. The focus is on evidence-based interventions that promote positive behavior changes and support clients and their families in achieving meaningful goals.

How does a Behavior Technician at Progressive Behavior Solutions typically collaborate with other professionals on the care team?

Behavior Technicians at Progressive Behavior Solutions work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), speech therapists, occupational therapists, and sometimes school staff to deliver coordinated care for clients. Regular team meetings, data sharing, and collaborative treatment planning ensure that each client's progress is monitored and strategies are adapted as needed. Open communication and teamwork are essential, as Behavior Technicians often implement interventions designed by other professionals and provide valuable feedback from daily sessions. This collaborative environment not only supports client success but also offers opportunities for professional development and learning.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Behavior Technician at Progressive Behavior Solutions, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Behavior Technician, you need a foundational understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), typically obtained through relevant coursework or a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Familiarity with data collection software, ABA protocols, and reporting tools is often required. Patience, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential soft skills for working effectively with clients and families. These skills ensure effective intervention delivery, client progress, and positive outcomes in behavioral health settings.

Job description

Special Education Teacher | Michigan | Full-Time | 2026–2027

Teach With Purpose. Champion Progress. Empower Learners.

Are you an educator who enjoys creating instruction that meets students where they are? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Michigan school district to identify a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position during the 2026–2027 school year.

This school-based opportunity is designed for a teacher who can adapt instruction, build strong student relationships, and work effectively within a collaborative educational team. You’ll support learners receiving special education services while helping them access the curriculum, develop essential skills, and make progress toward individualized goals.

The selected teacher will provide targeted instruction in resource and inclusive settings, adjust learning materials to accommodate individual needs, and use student performance data to guide instruction. You’ll also contribute to IEP development, support positive classroom behavior, and maintain consistent communication with families and school professionals.

Your Day-to-Day Impact:
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in collaborative planning and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Communicate student progress and educational needs with families.
  • Adapt lessons, curriculum, assignments, and assessments as needed.
  • Coordinate with general education teachers and related service providers.
  • Review student data and adjust instructional strategies based on progress.
  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student goals.
  • Implement classroom practices that encourage positive behavior and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate student records and required special education documentation.

Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field and demonstrate strong instructional, organizational, communication, and classroom management skills. Experience working in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement or meet state eligibility requirements for certification.
