Chenega Advanced Solutions and Intelligence Services, LLC (CASIS), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska. CASIS is an 8(a), ANC-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ. We are a professional services provider specializing in the delivery of Intelligence Operations and Cyber Support Services to the Department of Defense (DoD) & other agencies within the U.S. Government (USG). 

CASIS is a part of Chenega Corporation's Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The SBU operates as a leveraged services model that increases the depth & scalability of our support staff while reducing costs to our customers. Chenega MIOS has over 1,700 employees located across the United States & internationally, with experience that includes management of contracts valued at $2 Billion that provide services to large federal agencies. 

The Agile Program Manager (PM) has a pivotal role within the project team, responsible for leading the implementation of Agile methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of the Government's objectives. The Agile PM must possess a robust understanding of Agile principles, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies, and demonstrate a proven track record of successful leadership in Agile environments. This includes the ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies, foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Agile PM will be expected to mentor team members in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Agile frameworks while adapting to the unique needs of the supported Government organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex Agile projects, showcasing their capability to navigate challenges and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, sprint review, retrospectives, and  
  • other related team and intra-team meetings  
  • Participate in sprint demonstrations and Scrum of Scums  
  • Maintain and generate information radiators for the team  
  • Collect and share team metrics with the team, suggest new metrics, and drive improvement using metrics 
  • Ensure the goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the team  
  • Ensure the technical team has a clear understanding of "Definition of Done"  
  • Drive stories to Ready State in preparation for the next quartet and upcoming sprints 
  • Prepare for and facilitate regular releases and spring planning with the product owner and the team 
  • Work with the team and Product Owner/Manager to maintain a healthy backlog and plan upcoming releases and assist with drafting acceptance criteria 
  • Manage the budget for the program and handle all program management responsibilities such as contract deliverables, program management review charts or status updates 
  • Other duties as assigned 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or related field experience required 
  • Equivalent extensive relevant work experience may be used in lieu of a degree 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Agile project management 
  • 3+ Agile projects from inception to completion 
    • Experience applying Scrum and growing Agile teams as a Scrum Master for 5 years or more 
    • Experience affecting change in organizations and working towards agile adoption 
    • Experience using agile project management tools, preferably JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Azure DevOps 
    • Experience working in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional development teams 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile project management certification (PMIACP) 
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance 
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated success leading projects that required rapid iteration and feedback loops, such as software development and product management 
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile transformations within fast-moving organizations, and showcase the ability to implement Agile practices at scale  
  • Must excel in managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals 
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others. 
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in an office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues. 
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired. 
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
