The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) is seeking a Temporary Program Manager to support the Harvard Grid, a key initiative within Harvard's innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
This role will manage established programs serving faculty, staff, and students while driving new initiatives that support translational research and entrepreneurship.
Position Details
  • Location: Allston, MA (Hybrid - ~3 days onsite/week)
  • Duration: ~18 months- possible extension
  • Schedule: 35 hours/week (some evenings + occasional weekends for events)
  • Pay: $40/hr
? Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Executive Director to execute strategy supporting Harvard's engineering & physical sciences ecosystem.
  • Plan and deliver programs including workshops, networking events, symposia, and speaker series.
  • Collaborate with faculty, students, and university leadership to identify program opportunities and gaps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners including startups, accelerators, and venture capital groups.
  • Track KPIs and measure program impact.
  • Manage event logistics (scheduling, catering, setup, onsite support).
  • Maintain digital platforms (newsletter, website, LinkedIn, Airtable).
  • Coordinate across internal Harvard groups and innovation programs.
  • Support diversity and inclusion efforts within the innovation ecosystem.
