Counseling Intern

Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic is a comprehensive mental healthcare system providing acute in-patient care, residential treatment, and outpatient therapy. Parkside is looking for a Counseling Intern! Under the direction of the Internship Supervisor, the Intern will be exposed to a range of experiences within the mental health field. Parkside Hospital works with interns and educational institutions to design internships and practicums that meet their specific needs based on educational level and requirements.

Once applications are reviewed, candidates will be notified end of July to early August for our Fall 2026 Counseling Intern openings.

Counseling Intern

Enrollment in a Master's or higher-level degree program leading to a degree in marriage, family and child counseling, marital and family therapy, psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology with an emphasis in marriage, family and child counseling or social work with an emphasis in clinical social work from a school, in an accredited college or university is required.
