Job description


As an Intern Radiology Tech, the Intern Radiology Tech will focus on patient safety, is required to function within the parameters of the legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of the employing health care institution or practice setting. The Intern Radiology Tech is responsible for clerical duties assigned, transporting the patient to and from the department, completing all necessary documentation, and once the patient is in the department may position and prepare equipment for the x-ray; depending upon student level of training in Radiology program. The Intern Radiology Tech cannot create an exposure of ionizing radiation until they have graduated from the Radiology Program and has MRT.

  • 6 Month from Graduation or recent Graduate awaiting temporary TMB license from Accredited Radiology Program, required
  • 6 months of intending an accredited Radiology Program, required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), required within 90 days of hire
