Job description

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership in the area of HACCP and Food Safety by reviewing, maintaining and organizing all plant records related to certifications, and regulatory and quality related programs/policies.
  • Maintain the Complex's Non-compliance Reports, complaints, and associated monitoring programs.
  • Verify completed corrective and preventative measures have been completed as documented.
  • Under the direction of the Complex QA Manager write, maintain, administer and revise the Complex HACCP, SSOP and SPS.
  • Maintain Complex's HACCP validation records and associated monitoring programs and distribute HACCP reports as requested.
  • Audit records as requested related to BRC certification, HACCP, PVP, Animal Welfare and Plant Quality Programs.
  • Assists in audit preparation for all required certification audits.
  • Interact with local USDA as needed.
  • Maintain all documentation for all Complex's Certification programs.
  • Assist in program reviews and any/all audit preparation.
  • Prepare reports as needed for QA Management.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by management.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 - 2 years administrative assistant experience.
  • General plant production knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office Experience - Mid-level knowledge/experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Must be able to effectively communicate quality, food safety, and production requirements to employees and management.
