Group Home Program Assistant

Full-Time & Part-Time | Hourly


We are hiring a Group Home Program Assistant to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. This role focuses on daily care, skill-building, and community involvement to help residents live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, mobility)
  • Support residents with housekeeping, cooking, and money management
  • Administer medications after training
  • Provide transportation and support community outings
  • Maintain documentation, incident reports, and basic financial records
  • Promote a safe, clean, and supportive home environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable vehicle and phone
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Training Provided:

  • CPR/First Aid, Safe Driving, Safety, and Bloodborne Pathogens (required within first 10 days of hire)
