The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring for a Program Analyst in the Washington, D.C. area.
Responsibilities
The Program Analyst shall:
  • Provide direct support to the Trident Missile Branch, Program Integration Section Head
  • Act as a key coordinator, organizing planning meetings and monitoring project execution to ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to compile actionable insights for Executive leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare and present recommendations and findings to senior leadership within Executive Suite and partner organizations.
  • Provide logistical and organizational support for high-level leadership engagements, both in-person and virtual.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the client

This role requires close collaboration with senior executives and stakeholders in dynamic environments. Work locations will primarily be the SPA Maritime Plaza Office in DC and the Client Site Office at the Washington Navy Yard.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to work at Washington Navy Yard and surrounding areas, up to 5 days/week.
  • Active DoD SECRET/TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in programmatic support, workflow analysis, or government planning processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support high-level executive engagements.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense command structures or organizational frameworks.
  • Experience handling scheduling and deconfliction for leadership teams.
  • Experience with federal government contracts and/or finance.
  • Prior exposure to Navy Strategic Systems Programs, submarines, the Trident II (D5) Strategic Weapons System, or other nuclear-related programs.
