Job description

Project details:

Intern will be tasked with design and assembly of automation cells. Task will include working with engineering and operations to define automation cell requirements, generate designs for mechanical and electrical systems, assembly of automation cells and support of FAT/SAT for delivery.

 Background of project

Chromalloy is spooling up automation initiatives and is looking for an intern to learn about industrial automation through practical application of the skills they are learning at university.

Scope

Task will include working with engineering and operations to define automation cell requirements, generate designs for mechanical and electrical systems, assembly of automation cells and support of FAT/SAT for delivery.

Deliverables

Mechanical and electrical designs, generation of technical documents including manuals, work instructions and final reports on cell performance post FAT/SAT

Preferred internship period

 

  • Hiring Managers are strongly encouraged to identify project timelines, as interns require certainty as to the duration of the project.
  • Interns may only be available to participate during certain days of the week with limited hours.
  • Hiring Managers are encouraged to consider this when identifying the project.
