This is an exciting opportunity to join an established developer-builder delivering one of the largest and most significant mixed-use developments in Atlantic Canada.

We’re looking for an ambitious Assistant Site Superintendent who wants to build their career on a major concrete high-rise residential project in Halifax.

You may already be working as an Assistant Superintendent, or you could be an experienced Site Coordinator, Site Engineer or Foreman who has built strong site experience and is ready to step up.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced Site Superintendent, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day delivery of the project, including:

  • Coordinating trades and daily site activities.
  • Supporting construction sequencing, scheduling and site logistics.
  • Reviewing drawings and helping resolve site issues.
  • Monitoring progress, quality and safety.
  • Participating in site and trade meetings.
  • Taking increasing ownership of areas of the project.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of site-based construction experience in Halifax.
  • Experience with a General Contractor or Developer on new-build projects.
  • Background as an Assistant Superintendent, Site Coordinator, Site Engineer, Foreman or similar.
  • Experience on multi-storey residential, high-rise, mixed-use or large commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of trade coordination, drawings and construction sequencing.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with the ambition to progress your career.
  • Procore, Bluebeam or similar construction software experience is an asset.
Why Consider It?

This is a chance to work on a landmark Halifax development with a significant multi-year pipeline ahead. You’ll gain valuable concrete high-rise experience, work alongside experienced construction professionals and have a genuine opportunity to progress into Site Superintendent and Senior Superintendent roles.

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 + bonus + benefits + 3 weeks' vacation.

If you’re already an Assistant Superintendent looking for a bigger project, or you’ve built your experience as a Site Coordinator, Site Engineer or Foreman and are ready for the next step, we’d love to hear from you.
