Kleinschmidt has a full-time opening for a Mechanical Engineer to support design and consulting for hydroelectrical power plants and fish passage facilities out of Halifax, NS. This position requires three days in-office.Salary: 86,000-120,000 CAD /year (based on experience)Who You AreAn EIT or P.Eng with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years' experience; 4 of which must be acceptable and verifiable for the Engineering Board of your province. Experience working with Canadian engineering codes, standards, permitting processes, or regulatory requirements is considered an asset.Relationship-focused: Experience developing long-lasting relationships with clients to assist them in solving complex engineering challenges. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team while applying engineering skills from analysis and design through to construction.
