We are seeking an Engineering Student, for our Toronto District, working in Trenton, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 or 8 months starting in September 2026.

As an Engineering Student you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating drawings, work specific scope / trades, trade quote reviews - verify material quantities, verify hours, verify rates, deficiency walks etc
  • Participating in project meetings, 
  • Inputting / Updating deficiency logs and issuing warranties
  • Taking / Coordinating progress photos, and updating field drawings
  • Producing as-built drawings
  • Performing quantity takeoffs, coordinating and supervising sub-trade work and 
  • Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings
  • Setting-up / Maintaining record keeping
  • Layout site lines and grades using total station
  • Creating manual schedules, updating schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software, maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD.
  • Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades and updating project schedules
  • Monitoring workforce productivity
Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
