Job description

Common and Baseline Responsibilities:

  • ย Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting systems.
  • ย Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
  • ย Ensure the integrity of financial data through regular audits and controls.
  • ย Identify opportunities for system improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
  • ย Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and performance indicators.
  • ย Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • ย Support project managers in tracking project budgets and financial performance.
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to meet business and data processing needs
  • Integrate and process data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, CSV, Excel, TXT, XML, and JSON files
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support ETL processes and Power BI datasets
  • Build custom ETL components and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing
  • Design and maintain data models, database schemas, tables, views, and indexes
  • Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality
  • ย Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows and SQL Agent jobs

Proficiencies:

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices

  • Experience working with Deltek APIs and integration frameworks
  • Experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint preferredย 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools

Licensure/Certifications/Education

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field required
