Position Overview

A precision manufacturing company in Olathe is seeking an experiencedCNC Programmer / Machinistto join their growing team. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining centers while supporting production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, programming complex parts, and working in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program CNC machining centers usingMastercam
  • Set up machines for production runs and perform first-piece inspections
  • Develop and modify machining programs and routing documentation
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
  • Build and maintain tooling and workholding fixtures
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and quality standards
  • Perform in-process inspections and document non-conforming material
  • Deburr finished parts as needed
  • Maintain tooling inventory and an organized work area
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes
