Our client is seeking a versatile Systems Engineer to serve as a technical backbone for our IT Infrastructure team based in Indianapolis, IN. This position is designed for a specialist who enjoys managing the full lifecycle of enterprise technology-from server-side virtualization to end-user device compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Virtualization
  • Server Administration: Design, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016-2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Virtualization: Optimize VMware ESXi/vSphere clusters to ensure resource efficiency and high availability.
  • App Delivery: Manage Citrix infrastructure (Virtual Apps and Desktops) and NetScaler (ADC) appliances to provide seamless remote access for engineering staff.
2. Endpoint & Lifecycle Management
  • Unified Management: Lead the administration of Ivanti Endpoint Management for software distribution, OS imaging, and remote support.
  • Automated Patching: Design and implement automated patching schedules and remediation workflows to maintain a robust security posture.
  • Mobile & Cloud MDM: Oversee Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance monitoring, and application deployment across iOS, Android, and Windows.
3. Network, Security & Reliability
  • Security Operations: Manage Cisco networking and Check Point firewalls; implement system hardening and vulnerability remediation.
  • Disaster Recovery: Participate in the planning and execution of DR testing and backup solutions (e.g., Rubrik).
  • Architecture: Contribute to high-level infrastructure design decisions and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Candidate Requirements
