In this role, you’ll collaborate with project managers, designers, and municipal clients to bring critical infrastructure projects to life — from utility systems and roadway improvements to stormwater solutions and beyond. • Design municipal projects using Civil 3D to successfully complete site, grading, drainage, and stormwater projects within established budgets and deadlines.
• Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments.
• Assist with proposal development for professional services.
• Coordinate with public and private utilities, as well as other disciplines.
• Perform and review hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
• Prepare and review cost estimates for accuracy and completeness of scope.
• Assist Project Manager with tracking project budget and schedules.
• Attend meetings with municipal stakeholders and present components of assignments.
• Perform field investigations/site visits, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering is required.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience, preferably with municipal projects is required.
• EIT (Engineer-In-Training) certification required; Professional Engineer license or working towards licensure is preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion.
• Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
