Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Prepares and codes operations, tooling identification, indexing sequences, speeds, and feeds.
  2. Develops efficient tool paths for various machining operations.
  3. Creates, modifies, and optimizes manufacturing programs using CAM software to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  4. Verifies programs are correct and efficient, with the help of machine operators.
  5. Prepares instruction sheets.
  6. Organizes and maintains detailed records.
  7. Modifies and adjusts programs and instructions to incorporate engineering changes as required.
  8. Analyzes and resolves programming issues that arise during the machining process to ensure product quality.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements
  • Foundational understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and models.

  • Knowledge of CNC machine operations, including setup and troubleshooting.

  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
