Job description

Position: CNC Machinist Programmer

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of CNC Machinist Programmer for our client’s Milling Department. This is a full-time opportunity within a well-established machine shop that manufactures high-quality, close-tolerance parts for a wide range of industries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operate CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet customer requirements.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including job travelers, operator check sheets, and inspection reports.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet manufacturing goals.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision but seek assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Skilled in utilizing various measuring tools for precision work.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience operating CNC Vertical 3-Axis milling centers.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a setup/programming role with CNC 3-Axis milling centers.
  • Experience with Mastercam software is required.
  • Previous experience in roles such as CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer, or CNC Mill Machinist is preferred.
