POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager Global CNC Programming is a key business partner to the Chief Operations Officer, responsible for leading and optimizing the Company's global CNC programming and machining operations. Through strategic planning, team management, and continuous improvement, this leader ensures production that is high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective across all sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build Scale and Flexibility in the Manufacturing Organization

  • Create a unified, multi-site programming team to drive standardized development of programs and work instructions.
  • Develop a system to receive, organize, and prioritize programming requests across the organization.
  • Ensure production schedules are met on a global scale.
  • Identify under-utilized and ill-equipped capital assets for replacement to drive increased efficiency.

Improve Production Utilization and Efficiency Through Program Optimization & Technology

  • Develop standardized tool lists to minimize setups.
  • Build a library system of macros, optimized tools, and tool paths to minimize programming time.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing Esprit CAM software, machine upgrades, and new programming practices.
  • Stay current on the latest manufacturing and programming technologies.

Optimize Quality & Compliance

  • Partner with counterparts to develop SOPs that drive operational excellence.
  • Develop training tools, including videos and visual work aids.
  • Identify high-potential operators for cross-training.

Reduce Cost to Meet or Exceed Annual Targets

  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-backed solutions.
  • Reduce tooling cost and cost of capital without constraining production.

Workforce and Talent Management

  • Establish the organization as an employer of choice.
  • Develop leaders who empower teams and value collaboration.
  • Build cross-training and certification programs to improve skill sets, maximize flexibility, and reduce pinch points.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Subject-matter expertise in CNC programming.
  • Hands-on CAD/CAM, and Esprit software experience is a must.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, and CRM systems.
  • Proven multi-site management experience.
  • Demonstrated history of centralizing and standardizing building processes.
  • Experience leveraging AI integration to improve operations (a plus).
