Job description

Lead the Fun & Learn the Business: Program Director (Future Gym Owner Track)

Location: Eagan, MN

Company:The Little Gym of Eagan

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($20/hour)

Schedule: 35 hours/wk. Includes evening shifts and one weekend morning shift

The Ultimate Gym Ownership Apprenticeship

Are you a natural-born leader who dreams of owning your own fitness, sports, or child-development franchise one day? We aren't looking for a passive floor worker; we are looking for a hungry, future business owner.

As our Program Director, you won't just coach—you will get hands-on mentorship from an award-winning franchisee owner-operator team. You will learn the exact operational blueprints, team culture strategies, and management skills required to run a premium facility. If you have the drive to own a gym tomorrow, come learn how to do it with us today.

About Us

At The Little Gym of Eagan, we believe in fostering confidence, teamwork, and joy through recreational gymnastics. We are a small, tight-knit, high-performing team dedicated to helping kids grow both on and off the mat. We take our fun very seriously, and we are looking for an ambitious leader to help drive our culture forward.

The Ideal Profile: Mastering "The Switch"

This unique role requires a rare blend of emotional maturity:

  • Goofball Leader: You must be young at heart, high-energy, and completely comfortable being an absolute goofball to connect with a 4-year-old.
  • Responsible Mentor: You must be wise and mature enough to practice "tough love" with a younger coaching staff. You know how to lead culturally, support your team, and build a fun environment—while maintaining strict boundaries that prioritize operational excellence over peer approval.
What You’ll Do

As the Program Director, you will anchor our critical peak hours (including evenings and one weekend morning shift) and serve as the culture engine of the gym. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead & Mentor: Supervise, train, and coach a team of young instructors, ensuring they deliver high-intensity, safe, and structured classes.
  • Drive Quality: Oversee our structured recreational gymnastics programs for kids ages 4 months to 12 years old. (Bonus: The world-class curriculum is already fully created and provided for you!)
  • Manage with Authority: Act as the responsible adult on-site during peak evening and weekend hours, managing schedules, equipment, and facility safety.
  • Bridge the Gap: Seamlessly transition from a high-energy class to a professional, mature conversation with parents, building long-term trust and "gym family" loyalty.
What We’re Looking For
  • The Ambition: A clear professional goal to one day run, manage, or own a business, franchise, or athletic program.
  • The Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in gymnastics coaching, youth sports instruction, or youth program management.
  • The Grip: Strong leadership and communication skills. You aren't afraid of hard conversations or enforcing high standards.
  • The Capability: Physical ability to actively spot, lift, and assist young gymnasts up to 12 years old safely.
  • The Reliability: Unwavering responsibility to independently run evening and weekend shifts when senior ownership is off-site.
Why Join Us?

While we operate lean and don't currently offer traditional corporate benefits, we offer something far more valuable for your career: direct access and mentorship. At ConfettiWorks, LLC, you will work side-by-side with ownership and our Gym Director, Ashley. You will be treated as a key business partner, gaining real-world management experience that no college classroom can teach.
