Job description

Maintenance Technician/Electrician

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician/Electrician at our manufacturing Plant located in Orlando. If you meet our qualifications and have an interest the following responsibilities, we encourage you to apply!

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, emphasis on electrical know how
  • Industrial electrical and mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of assembling, installing and repairing electrical and mechanical components and systems
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them

·Time management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting

·Ability to read and interpret blueprints for renovation and repair purposes

·Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting.

·Experience operating and maintaining roll-forming equipment, CNC machinery, and brake presses.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring proper plant maintenance including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
  • Troubleshoot by observing mechanical devices in operation, by listening for problems and/or by using precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets and assembly schematic drawings
  • Replace or repair faulty electrical components
  • Calibrate and adjust all electrical/electronic equipment
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools
  • Answers questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance
  • Minor programming and maintenance for programmable logic controller-based equipment
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines

·Uses LOTOTO procedures to demonstrate familiarity with site safety precautions
