Job Description
The incumbent in this position displays proven skills in design, configuration and implementation of solutions for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) packages, and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and industrial computing technology. This individual is responsible for providing technical leadership on projects and support duties for both local and remote industrial water, waste water, potable and raw facilities, as well as pump stations and waste water lift stations. This individual assumes operational and architecture accountability of Public Works systems hardware and software, and coordinates delivery of these resources to project efforts. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing general technology support responsibilities for a Public Works infrastructure with exposure to large-scale project planning and deployment is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be consider. Support experience in a water/waste water environment is preferred. Formal training on InTouch for System Platform is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
