Program Director ( $6000 Hiring & Retention Bonus )

Acacia Mental Health Rehabilitation Center
Starting Compensation:
125,000.00 - 145,000.00 USD Per Year
Working Location:
Redwood City: Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (In-person position)
Working Hours/Shift:
FT, Monday-Friday, AM shift but may vary depending on the Program needs

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
Education: Must meet one of the following criteria:
  • Master's degree in a social science field OR
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing along with valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) or Psychiatric Technology (LPT).

Experience:
  • At least eight (8) years of experience in the behavioral health field, including a minimum of two (2) years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in program development for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

License or Certification:
  • Clinical/Mental Health: BBS licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist with the eligibility to provide clinical supervision is preferred.
  • Nursing Alternative: Candidates without a master's degree in a social science field must hold a valid California license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT).

Driver Requirements: A valid California Driver's License and current automobile insurance, with a driving record that consistently meets the agency's eligibility policy.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Program Director has primary responsibility for clinical and operational oversight of the Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC). Responsible for ensuring adherence to licensing/oversight regulations and company policies.
Division/Program Overview:
  • MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services.
  • The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility.
  • Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team.
  • The team supports individuals in developing the skills to become self- sufficient and increase levels of independence and functioning.
