Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.

The Program Manager will organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities, interface with government personnel, secure ongoing program opportunities, and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives.

What You’ll Do: Precision in Action

  • Establishes and coordinates the production schedules for technical and operational performance of specific company manufacturing programs
  • Serves as lead for internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and facilitate coordination of internal and external resources to ensure program success
  • Adequately and clearly communicates programmatic priorities and actions to ensure all internal and external customers stay well informed
  • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to program problems and directs work of support personnel assigned to the program from various departments.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and exceed all quality and performance requirements. Maintain programmatic Estimates at Complete (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC)
  • Maintains action lists for assigned programs and ensures timely completion. This includes any corrective actions, opportunities for improvement, continuous improvement, or customer assigned requirements
  • Maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping practices
  • Assists in negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinates preparation of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions (estimates at completion) of contracts.
  • Act as company point of contact with customer and participate in Integrated Product Team(s) (IPT), comprised of customer and company representatives.
  • Maintain good employee relations, and adherence to Affirmative Action Plan, Labor Laws, and EEO rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
