Customer Support Coordinator

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Customer Support Coordinator, who provides high-quality, quick and accurate, supply chain support to, ROI Members through proactive solutions and decision making. The Customer Support Coordinator also provides requisition processing, daily product sourcing, vendor purchase order negotiations, purchase order placement, confirmation follow up, and expediting of purchase orders for products and services for the Mercy Consolidated Services Center (CSC). The Customer Support Coordinator is responsible for daily customer and vendor relationships both within and outside of the organization. What you will do in this role:

  • You will performs the duties of the purchasing buyer when the customer has an urgent request.
  • You will provide front line support to ROi customers regarding supply chain related issues.
  • You will provide the first tier of support for other ROI teams such as Purchasing, CSC Inventory Management, CSC Operations, Transportation, Customer Pack Solutions, Capital Purchasing and Local Supply Chain.
  • You will coordinate the procurement of sub items when the vendor is out of stock on an item through sourcing to other manufactures.
  • You will coordinate the entry of complaints into the quality management software for Mercy and Commercial customer returns and recalls as well as any other quality complaint.
  • You will coordinate the return of product from the end user to the vendor.

What you should have for this role:

  • High School diploma or GED Required
  • 1 year of call center or customer service related experience preferred
