Job description

The Primary Purpose of the Position is to perform various administrative and clerical duties in support of the Social Work (SW) Service Care Transitions (Inpatient/Community Living Center - CLC) organizational units to which the incumbent is assigned. The incumbent performs office automation support using multiple automated programs and software; such as databases, spreadsheets, graphics charting, and multimedia computer equipment/devices in support of the administrative and clerical work.Qualifications:To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/03/2026.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
  • Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Technology Application - Gather data from multiple databases.; Financial Management - Assists with budget preparation; Customer Service - Accepts telephone calls from patients, family members, VA staff, or individuals of the community; and Quality Assurance - Provides guidance or assistance to staff on policies or procedures.
