Program Management Home Manager
Do you want to use your educational and work experience in human services to help improve the lives of individuals in home settings? As Home Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities for one or more homes, ensuring that individuals receiving services are properly cared for.

  • Manage daily activities, budgets, and schedules for one or more homes and designated individuals 
  • Manage and directly supervise staff including performance evaluations, hiring, scheduling, orientation, ongoing support, and training 
  • Maintain census and maximize utilization and occupancy percentages within programs 
  • Ensure safety and workers’ compensation initiatives are followed 
  • Maintain and foster relationships with individuals receiving services, families, and guardians; implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate 
  • Implement program plans for individuals receiving services and submit timely incident reports as appropriate, providing individual corrective action 
  • Maintain and foster relationships with case managers and referral agents; lobby on behalf of individuals supported as appropriate 
  • Develop, implement, revise, and monitor data collection and Individual Program Plans for individual training programs; maintain records for individuals served; complete monthly data summaries and make revisions as needed 
  • Implement safety plans and coordinate scheduling for supported individuals; ensure that individuals are receiving appropriate health and medication management; coordinate activities and appointments; assist in the management of youth funds 
  • Ensure homes are clean, neat, and safe, working with maintenance as appropriate 
  • Purchase program supplies and submit billing compliance documentation 
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or related field 
  • One to two years of experience preferred CPR and first aid certification 
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport with others 
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
