Job Summary
The student staff position provides administrative & clerical support to the Center for Native Excellence and Tribal Engagement (NETE)
Responsibilities
Visitor Engagement: Greet and direct visitors, conduct thorough intakes to connect them with appropriate NETE resources and staff (scheduling, internal communication, phone support).
Reception & Information: Serve as the primary point of contact via phone and desk, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.
Space Stewardship: Maintain a welcoming, accessible, and professional NETE environment through regular tidying and organization.
Resource Management:Develop and update physical and digital resources (bulletin boards, displays, Campus Connect, university calendar, etc.) to keep visitors informed.
Program Support: Assist in the planning, promotion (marketing, graphic design), and execution of NETE programs.
Initiative Promotion: Actively support and stay informed about all NETE initiatives, including tabling events.
Data & Reporting: Perform weekly data entry for impact reporting purposes.
Event Assistance: Provide comprehensive support for NETE events (sign-in, facilitation, setup/takedown, photography).
Media Management: Organize and archive event-related media (photos, videos).
Logistical Support: Assist with mail and deliveries across campus.
Team Collaboration: Participate in shared evening work responsibilities for extended NETE hours and events.
Guest Coordination: Support and coordinate guest visits (parking, directions, communication).
General Assistance: Provide support to staff members with various tasks as needed.
Professional Development:Attend weekly staff meetings as your schedule allows.
